1. Read the sentences:
a. Children in the slums have more diseases than those in the wealthy areas.
b. The countryside has fewer problems than a big city.
More + danh từ (đếm được và không đếm dược): nhiều hơn
Less + danh từ (không đếm được): ít hơn
Fewer + danh từ (đếm được) : ít hơn
2a. Read the information about two cities:
2b. Read the comparisons of two cities, and decide if they are true. If they are not, correct them.

Grammar Comparisons of quantifiers : more, less/ fewer More + danh từ (đếm được và không đếm dược): nhiều hơn Less + danh từ (không đếm được): ít hơn Fewer + danh từ (đếm được) : ít hơn 2b. Read the comparisons of two cities, and decide if they are true. If they are not, correct them. 1. In Brumba, there are more people per square klometre. 2. In Brumba, fewer people live in slums. 3. People in Crystal earn less per day. 4. More people in Crystal have enough food. 5. In Brumba, fewer children over ten go to school. 3. Fill the sentences with more, less or fewer. 1. February has days than January. 2. Overpopulation is causing problems than we can imagine. 3. Big city suffer pollution than the countryside. 4. A teacher needs calories than a farmer. 5. Cách dùng trợ động từ trong câu hỏi đuôi 1, Trường hợp 1: Câu có động từ to be (am/ is/ are/ was/ were) Câu có modal verb ( will/ would/ can/ could/ may/ might/ should/ ought to/ must/..) thì dùng lại to be hoặc modal trong câu hỏi đuôi. Eg: You were hungry, weren’t you? 2, Trường hợp 2: Câu không có to be hoặc modal thì dùng trợ động từ DO/ DOES/ DID Eg: Your father works in a hospital, doesn’t he? You didn’t come to school yesterday, did you? 4. Check if the tags are correct. If they are not, correct them 1. You live in the countryside, do you ? Incorrect don’t they? 2.
