I. Vocabulary His movies are always gripping.
- gripping (adj) :hay, hấp dẫn This is a moving moment of these two boys.
- moving (adj) : gây cảm động, xúc động I. Vocabulary
- hilarious (adj) : vui nhộn, hài hước ( = funny)
- gripping (adj) : hay, hấp dẫn
- scary (adj) : đáng sợ, gây sợ hãi
- frightened (adj): sợ hãi (= terrified)
- moving (adj) : gây cảm động, xúc động
- exhausted (adj) : mệt nhoài,kiệt sức(very tired) The following are adjectives which are often used to describe films.

 -ed and –ing adjectives 
 -ed adjectives -ing adjectives

 interested interesting

* We use –ed adjectives to describe someone’s feelings.
 Example : The film was long , and I was bored .
* We use –ing adjectives to describe things or people 
(that cause the feelings).
 Example : The film was long , and boring . 33. Choose the correct adjectives:

 2. The boy was so frightened/ frightening by the 
 f film that he could sleep last night.
 3. Critics were disappointed/ disappointing at his

 Use -ing adjectives to describe things
 Example: 
 1. the last movie you saw on TV
 The last movie I saw on TV was ”Stars war”.

 3. the result of your last English test.
