1) Hình thức:

2) Cách dùng:
 a)Đại từ nhân xưng chủ ngữø (subject) : làm chủ cho hành động , sự việc 
 EX:- He is a teacher. Oâng ấy là giáo viên.
 - He listens to music. Anh ấy nghe nhạc.
 b)Đại từ nhân xưng tân ngữ : làm đối từ cho động từ , luôn luôn đứng sau động từ.
 EX: - Look at him. Hãy nhìn anh ta.
 - Can you help me? Bạn có thể giúp tôi không ?
 c) Tính từ sở hữu : luôn luôn đứng trước danh từ để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ .
 EX : This is my book. Her mother is a teacher. 
 Đây là sách của tôi. Mẹ bạn ấy là giáo viên.
B. TENSES - Thì
 1. The simple Present tense: Thì hiện tại đơn 
Thì hiện tại đơn dùng để diễn tả một thói quen hay một hành động xảy ra thường xuyên ở hiện tại.
Thường có các trạng từ đi kèm như : every day , every morning , every month , always, usually, often, 
sometimes, seldom, never
 a) With “to be” : Với động từ “to be”
 KĐ S + be (am / is / are) . . . . . . . .
 PĐ S + be (am / is / are ) + not . . . 
 NV Be ( Am / Is / Are) + S . . . . . . .?
 EX : a) I am a student. b) She is a teacher. 
 I am not a student. She is not a teacher.
 Am I a student? Is she a teacher? 
 c) We are doctors. d) They are farmers.
 We are not doctors. They are not farmers.
 Are we doctors? Are they farmers? 
 b) With ordinary verbs: Với động từ thường 
 KĐ S + V / V-S / -ES 
 PĐ S + do not / does not + V

5.Hỏi đáp về môn học :
Ex: a) What do you have today? Hỏi What + do / does + S + have . . . .?
 I have math and literature.
 Đáp S + have / has + môn học
 b)What does Lan have on Monday? 
 She has history and georaphy. 
6.Hỏi đáp về thời gian môn học :
Ex : a) When do you have English?
 We have it on Monday and Friday. Hỏi When + do / does + S + have + môn học
 b)When does Nam have math ? 
 Đáp S+ have / has it on Monday,Tuesday 
 He has it on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
 7.Hỏi đáp về phương tiện đi lại: 
Ex: a) How do you go to school?
 I go to school by bike. Hỏi How + do / does + S + go / travel . . ?
 b) How does your father travel to work? Đáp S + go (-es) / travel (-s) + by bike / bus / car . 
 He travels by motorbike. 
8. Hỏi đáp về nghề nghiệp:
Ex: a) What do you do?
 I am a student. Hỏi What + do / does + S + do?
 b) What does she do ?
 She is a doctor. Đáp S + BE + nghề nghiệp
 a) What do Mr.Hai and Mr. Kien do ?
 They are businessmen.
