 B. GRAMMAR & STRUCTURE:
1. Verb Tense :
a/ The past simpletense ( review)
 * Tobe: was, were
 * Normal verb: 
 - Form : regular verbs: V_ed
 irregular verbs: (learn by heart)
 - Câu phủ định và nghi vấn ta phải mượn trợ động từ did( trừ to be)
 - Diễn tả một hành động:- đã xảy ra trong quá khứ có thời gian xác định và chấm dứt ở quá 
khứ
 - Các dấu hiệu nhận biết : khi có các từ chỉ thời gian trong quá khứ như: yesterday, last, ago
b/ The past simple with “wish”
- Form: S1 + wish + S2 + V- ed + O
 Were + adj / n *Note: Tobe dùng Were cho tất cả các ngôi
 Could + V (inf)
- Động từ Wish = If only (ao ước) thường dùng để diễn tả những ước muốn, những điều không 
có thật hoặc rất khó thực hiện.
c/ Present perfect ( review)
 -Form: have/ has+ Past Participle (pp)
 -> haven’t/ hasn’t+ Past Participle (pp)
 -> have/ has+ subject+ Past Participle (pp)?
- Diễn tả một hành động không có thời gian xác định, hoặc một hành động bắt đầu trong quá 
khứ và kéo dài đến hiện tại.
 - Các trạng từ : since, for, already, yet, recently, lately
2. Adverb clauses of result: 
- form: S1+ V1, so + S2+ V2. 
3. Prepositions of time (các giới từ chỉ thời gian)
- in, at, on, till, after, before, between, up to
4. Modal verbs with “if”:
 Loại Mệnh đề phụ(IF) Mệnh đề chính
 1 Will
 V(HTĐ) Can + V (inf)
 Be (is/am/are) Shall
 Đt thường V inf/ V(s/ es) May - dùng để tìm kiếm sự xác nhận thông tin được đề cập đến ở phần trước
 - Đối với động từ thường (ordinary verbs)
 Câu giới thiệu khẳng định, phần hỏi đuôi phủ định.
 S + V(s/es/ed/2).., don’t/doesn’t/didn’t + S?
 Câu giới thiệu phủ định, phần hỏi đuôi khẳng định
 S + don’t/ doesn’t/didn’t + V.., do/does/did + S?
 - Đối với động từ đặc biệt (special):
 Là các động từ khi chuyển sang câu phủ định ta thêm NOT vào sau động từ, khi chuyển sang 
 nghi vấn đưa chính động từ này lên trước chủ ngữ.
 Câu giới thiệu khẳng định, phần hỏi đuôi phủ định.
 S + special verb.. , special verb + not + S?
 Câu giới thiệu phủ định, phần hỏi đuôi khẳng định

 8. GERUNDS AFTER SOME VERBS: 
 - like, love, enjoy, hate, dislike + gerunds
 9. Passive form: 
 - form: Be + Past Participle (pp) 
 - dùng để nhấn mạnh đến hành động, không quan trọng ai hoặc cái gì đã gây ra hành động đó
 - Khi chuyển từ câu chủ động sang bị động, lưu ý:
▪ Tân ngữ-> chủ ngữ và ngược lại
▪ Động từ chia theo công thức:to be + past participle
 - Bảng tóm tắt công thức các thì trong câu bị động.
 HTĐ Am, is, are + V- ed (pp)
 QKĐ Was, were + V- ed (pp)
 HTTD Am,is, are + being + V- ed (pp)
 QKĐD Was, were + being + V- ed (pp)
 HTHT Have, has + been + V- ed (pp)
