 CONDITIONAL SENTENCES
I. WISH SENTENCES (CÂU ĐIỀU ƯỚC)
* NOTES
- Lùi 1 bậc thì (Simple Present → Simple Past)
- Câu khẳng định → câu phủ định (và ngược lại)
E.g: + He isn’t here. 
 → I wish 
 + He can’t speak English fluently. 
 → He wishes 
PRACTICE 1
I. Mark the letter A, B, C, or D to indicate the correct answer to each of the 
following questions.
1. I wish the weather ________ fine today.

 1 - Câu khẳng định → Câu phủ định (và ngược lại).
E.g.: I do not have enough money. I do not buy a new car. 
 → If 
- Câu bắt đầu bằng “because” → If clause
E.g.: He doesn’t pass his exam because he is lazy.
 → If he 
- Câu bắt đầu bằng “so”, mệnh đề đứng trước “so” là mệnh đề if
E.g.: I don’t have his number, so I don’t phone him.
 → If I 
* Unless = If . not
E.g.: If you do not hurry, you will be late for school.
 = Unless
